James was buried at the Charterhouse in Perth which has long since gone and, now, a major heritage project, headed up by former SCA President Professor Richard Oram of Stirling University with the aim of locating the monarch's final resting place and to perhaps recreate it some 580 years on from his untimely death at the age of 42.
